MOVEMENT FOR RECOVERY
"Movement is the essence of life.
It’s what we’re made to do, and through it,
we find strength, healing, and joy."

Hey,
I hope everyone’s having a great weekend! I just got back from visiting my daughter at college, where we did some tailgating and went to a football game. It was amazing—but now I’m home resting because, well, life can be a lot, right? Even the fun stuff can leave us feeling wiped out. And let’s not forget how the stress, challenges, and even tough experiences we’ve faced over the years can build up in our bodies.
Taking time to rest is important, but movement is equally essential in helping us recover physically, mentally, and emotionally. For many of us, especially those who’ve gone through hard times, moving our bodies can help us process and release what’s been stored inside.
Ever heard of your lymphatic system? It’s your body’s detox crew, clearing out waste and boosting your immune system. But here’s the kicker: it only works when you move! That means moving our bodies literally helps us feel better from the inside out.
